We believe the best way to avoid most costly vehicle repairs is to fix issues under planned maintenance, rather than waiting for problems to arise.
This is the most reliable way to ensure our customers are kept safe on the road and don’t end up with nasty surprises.

If you drive a vehicle over three years old, you must keep it in a safe and roadworthy condition. MOT tests can only be carried out by trained and experienced specialists at centres like Alford Auto Station, authorised by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
We offer a free MOT retest within 10 days – book by calling 019755 63949.
The MOT test is not the same as having your vehicle serviced, it’s a minimum road safety standard set by the government and not to check the mechanical condition of the whole vehicle. We recommend your vehicle is regularly serviced on top of the compulsory MOT test to ensure trouble-free motoring.

At Alford Auto Station, tyres are fitted by our trained professionals with the latest tyre fitting and balancing machines, supplying the best brands of tyres including: Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Continental, Avon, Dunlop, Firestone and many other makes and sizes.
Our friendly staff will provide you with all the required information about the relative tyre quality, fuel consumption, noise and weather responsiveness.
With tyres being the only point of contact with the road, tyre treads are designed to pump water from the road surface and provide maximum grip and better brake performance. Tyre pressure affects safety by impacting car’s handling capability and if not set to correct pressure, they wear out faster. To achieve lower fuel bills, longer tyre life, increased safety and reduced emissions, check your tyre pressure once a month and before a long journey.
